A classic advert from a classic brand from the south of Brazil. Hering have been makling T-Shirts since there have been Brazilians to wear them. In the classic ad from the early 1960s the art of cigarette smoking whilst in vest is exemplified by the gentleman on the left, his wifebeater wearing friend is occupied inspecting the quality of his towel.

If you weren’t already aware we have been tracking reactions to the launch of a new range of cosmetics from the hugely popular Brazilian cosmetics brand Boticario. We weren’t sure about the claims to be the first cosmetics range for the Brazilian man. A flick through the pages of some old magazines turned up a couple of classic ads that seem to sugggest the Brazilian man has long been ‘splashing it all over’.
